Happy Friday, friends!
Every Friday, I share a Finding Five post where I talk about five “happies” from my week. A happy can be any little thing that brightens your day or puts you in a good mood. Acknowledging our happies helps us to appreciate the little things in our lives a little bit more!
We got some cooler weather last weekend, and I was so happy to be able to pull out this jacket (that’s on sale!) for our haunted house night!
We went to The Mortuary in New Orleans and had the best time holding onto each other for dear life strolling through it 😉
Alexandria bundled up in this cardigan (in cocoa) because it literally feels like a blanket!
This little graphic was on my Bible app this week, and it was a good reminder to lean on God to give us what we need!
Remember when I told you you needed this mascara in your life?
Well Lancome now wins best mascara AND best eye makeup remover in my book. I don’t say this lightly! I didn’t even know I wasn’t satisfied with my eye makeup remover until I tried this one. These are both game changers!
We jam packed all the fall fun we could find this week!
Eric and I decorated this cute little Halloween house 🙂
How cute is that?!
On Sunday, we went to brunch at Surrey’s in New Orleans (give me all the crab melts!) and then…
visited the Skeleton House on State Street 🙂 . Every year, this house puts out tons of skeletons dressed up with different puns, and it’s a must see in New Orleans!
How funny is that?! To see all of the skeletons they’ve ever put out, click here.
On Monday, we had a Halloween potluck at school and dressed up as an OT inspired Snow White and her dwarves 🙂
And then on Halloween, I got to hang out with cool whip…
…and nae nae 🙂
Pssst: My tennis shoes are actually men’s 🙂 I just ordered a size and a half down! And I’m still wearing those super soft leggings all the time!
We ran our second half marathon on Saturday, and the weather couldn’t have been better! I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to run the whole thing because I had been dealing with an injury, but I was able to push through and really enjoy it!
Pssst: Find my running shoes (which I love!) here.
Whew! What a happy filled week!
If you missed my Paperback Picks post on Monday where I shared a book about the White House and a Christmas series you need to read, click here.
Thanks for reading along with me today. I hope you have the best weekend!
xoxo
Congrats on finishing the half marathon! Amazing! Love it when there’s good weather for race! Your Halloween house is so cute!
