It’s Memorial Day weekend!
This is one of my favorite weekends of the year because my family always goes to Bayou Country Superfest, which is a weekend long festival full of country music. I’m so excited!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Merritt and I went to Wednesday at the Square in Lafayette Square in New Orleans this week and had a blast!
Wednesday at the Square is a free concert series in the spring that has a different band or singer each week along with booths set up by little shops and restaurants around New Orleans!
I was enjoying the music and the PERFECT weather we were having and looked down and thought about how much I love my Birkenstocks. These are my go to shoes in the spring and summer because they’re so comfortable and seem to go with everything. You need these shoes in your life!
I’m a big believer that God puts people in your life who will bless you at just the right time, and these girls have been the best example of that for me. We celebrated our last weekend living together with an engagement party for one of Emily’s best friends on Friday and had the best time! I’m incredibly thankful to have found such good friends in these two.
I ordered this Drybar set from Sephora using my points that I had earned, and I’m in love with everything inside! It came with hair clips for blowdrying, dry shampoo, dry conditioner, and triple sec.
#1: Hair Clips: These clips are great because they grip your hair and can even hold thick hair like mine! They make blowdrying such an easy process.
#2: Dry Shampoo: I typically can’t use dry shampoo because it doesn’t help my hair look any cleaner, but this one has worked so well that I’m already almost out of the bottle. I’ll definitely be ordering more soon!
#3: Dry Conditioner: I’ve never used a dry conditioner before, but I loved this one! It kept my hair feeling healthy after using the dry shampoo.
#4: Triple Sec: I found that the triple sec was great to use before I curled my hair because it helps with texture and volume. I love this product even more than I expected to!
On Sunday, we celebrated Jeremy’s graduation with a crawfish boil!
We were trying to take a picture when my dad got distracted by a new batch of crawfish coming out 😉 .
I have a fairly new obsession with St. James Cheese Company in New Orleans.
It’s the cutest little restaurant that serves all kinds of cheeses, drinks, sandwiches and salads.
A couple of weeks ago, I went with Emily for the first time.
And I was so impressed that I went back with Eric this week. It did not disappoint!
That’s it for today!
I hope you have a great weekend!
xoxo
