Finding Five

Hey there, Friday!

If you’re new around here, every Friday I find five “happies” from my week to share with you in hopes that you will look for the happies in each one of your days too!  We have little happies all around us, and it’s such a mood booster to look for and acknowledge them.

I’m convinced that these shorts are the most comfortable pair of shorts in the world.  They literally feel like a blanket!  I want to cry hate when I have to take them off.  I have them in silver, and I love the chambray color too!

I found this note waiting for me on my first day of field work (one of my grad school requirements) from Emily, and it made my day!  I’m incredibly thankful for a friend who encourages me and inspires my faith.  Emily had a final that day and still took the time to do this 🙂 .

I loved trying this hair mask this week! I’ve used Paul Mitchell’s tea tree shampoo and conditioner for as long as I can remember and am also obsessed with their hair and scalp treatment so I was so excited to try the mask!  I used the shampoo and conditioner and then let the mask soak for about 15 minutes before rinsing it out, and my hair dried so soft and smooth!  I want to try the leave-in conditioner next!

I added in “fiesta” in front of fun this week in honor of how much fun Alexandria and I had on Cinco de Mayo last weekend!

Mexican food + live music made for the best night!

We threw it back to the 90’s this weekend with mirror pics, scrunchies and all and had the best night 🙂 .
