Finding Five

Happy happy Friday yall!

Every Friday, I share a Finding Five post where I talk about five “happies” from my week. A happy can be any little thing during your normal day that makes you smile or puts you in a good mood! Acknowledging our happies helps us to be thankful for our little everyday lives. I hope that by sharing my happies with you, you are encouraged to find your own each day! Our happies are all around us… we just have to look for them!

This little black dress just became my new favorite! I wore it all day on Saturday in New Orleans and it never wrinkled or felt uncomfortable! Throw it on with a pair of cute earrings and shoes, and you’re good to go!

A good reminder from my Bible app 🙂

My dad turned fifty yesterday, and got surprised in the morning by a sign for the whole neighborhood (and all of Facebook) to see 🙂

Our cousins came in town over the weekend, and we had so much fun having a little staycation with them in New Orleans!

We ate good food, had a ton of laughs, and even went on a ghost tour! The next morning, we had beignets, went to church, and headed back home! It was a weekend to remember 🙂

{Girl Wash Your} Face

Have you read Rachel Hollis’ latest book, Girl Wash Your Face?! If you haven’t walk RUN and go grab it. Rachel manages to be down to earth and real with you while motivating you to be the best version of yourself. We went to see her documentary this week, and it was just as good! She puts on conferences during the year but made a documentary so that her message could be more accessible to women around the country. Check to see if it’s coming to a theater near you here!

Thanks for sharing this space with me friends. I’m so thankful for YOU!

Wishing you the very best weekend!
