Paperback Picks: May

May 2018 Paperback Picks

Happy Friday, friends!

Today,  I’m sharing my May Paperback Picks post with you AND a Finding Five post! Each month, I read a few books and share them here with you along with a little Bible verse read. I read two really great books in May that I’ve been dying to get my hands on and am excited to share them here today with you!

secrets of midwives

The Secrets of Midwives was SO incredibly good! After reading and loving The Things We Keep, I was hooked on Sally Hepworth. This is the story of three generations of midwives that will grab your attention quickly and keep you guessing until the end! I honestly didn’t know much about the life of a midwife before this book, but it was very eye opening and such a good, easy read! I definitely recommend this one!

the identicals

The Identicals was another great read for the month of May! Identical twin sisters, Harper and Tabitha Frost, live on separate islands – Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and haven’t spoken in years. A family tragedy brings them back into each other’s lives, and they get crazily intertwined throughout the story as they are forced to acknowledge the separate lives they have created. It’s full of twists and turns and had me dying to take a trip to Nantucket AND Martha’s Vineyard! This was another great summer read!

And here’s a little Bible verse read for your Friday morning:

“But everyone who lives by the truth will come to the light.” John 3:21

If you’d like to read about the 24 books I read in 2017, find that here.  To keep up with what I’m reading this year, click here. And if you’d like to be friends with me on Goodreads where I share about the books I’m reading and want to read, find me here 🙂

Do you have any must read books to add to my list?! Please share!

Have the best weekend, friends!

xoxo
