We made it to Friday, friends!
Every Friday, I share a Finding Five post where I talk about five “happies” from my week. A happy can be any little thing during your day that puts a smile on your face! Finding the happies all around us helps us to acknowledge all of the blessings in our everyday lives. I hope that by sharing my happies, you will be encouraged to find yours too!
Fashion
This tank was a big happy in my book! It’s loose and flattering and felt easy and cool to move around in during my workout class. I bought the Rip Tide color, but it comes in lots of other options too!
Faith
“My future is in your hands.” Psalm 31:15
I found this verse encouraging this week 🙂
Fab
I went to go walk the lakes at LSU with Eric this weekend and realized I didn’t have a ponytail holder with me. We ran to Target and I picked up these ponytail holders and thought they were too cute! They’re more of a material band than a traditional rubberband, but I like the way they look in my hair and they hold my ponytail up great!
Fun
This weekend was lots of fun! We celebrated Alexandria’s birthday with hibachi on Friday 🙂
On Saturday we walked the lakes, went to see The Post at the movies, and ate our weight in lettuce wraps for a belated Valentines Day dinner 🙂
On Sunday we went to church, grabbed some lunch, and walked the lakes again! The weather has been so pretty outside, and I’ve been trying to soak up every second!
Fitness
Speaking of being outside, I’ve been rollerblading lately and have been enjoying it more than I ever expected. I hadn’t put on a pair of rollerblades since about 2001, but I got these for my birthday last year and have been putting them to good use! It’s a fun way to get outside for more than a walk or run, and I still work up a sweat. If you’re interested, you can find my rollerblades here 🙂
That’s it for this week!
Head back over here on Thursday for my February Paperback Picks post!
I hope you have the very best weekend 🙂
xoxo
