Every Friday, I share a Finding Five post where I talk about five “happies” from my week. A happy can be any little thing during your day that makes you smile or puts you in a good mood! Finding our happies in each of our days helps us to appreciate the little things around us and to realize that all of our days can be happy ones… we just have to look around us!

Hadley and I went and listened to a speaker with a group from our church last week and loved her sweet message! She is an artist who completely changed her life path to follow God’s plan for her. She encouraged us that if we are following the plan God has for us, He will use our talents to shine His light on others. Check out her art here! It’s incredible 🙂

We saw this in our forecast this week (which never happens in Louisiana!) and it reminded me that I wanted to share about…
this moisturizer! This stuff is a Godsend in the winter because it keeps your skin feeling so soft and smooth during the harsh weather that typically dries skin out! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve recommended this to friends because it just works so well. I use it after my regular face wash and moisturizer at night and wake up with my skin feeling so refreshed!

Eric and I had so much fun celebrating two years of dating at Bacchanal in New Orleans this weekend! I went for the first time for my birthday with some friends back in June, and I’ve been wanting him to come back with me ever since! It was COLD outside so they had the band playing in a little room upstairs, and it was the perfect little set up!
