Hey hey hey Friday!
Every Friday, I share a Finding Five post where I talk about five happies from my week. A happy can be anything during your day that makes you smile or puts you in a good mood! I hope to encourage you to find your own happies in your life and know that every day can be a great day…you just have to look around at the happies around you.
I have a few happies to share with you here today, and two of them I found…
at Walmart. I’ve never bought a scarf from Walmart before, but I was picking something up there, and this scarf caught my eye! I felt it and liked the material and weight of it but didn’t get it because I just would have never thought about buying a scarf there before.
I left and couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I went back and bought it along with this scarf too because (hello?) they were seven dollars. I’m so impressed by Walmart stepping up their accessory game!
Multi-colored scarf / Black and white scarf
This shirt was another happy for me this week because it just makes me so happy to wear it! I bought mine at a boutique in McKinney, but I found a similar one here. I love the ruffles on the sleeves!
I got this image off of my Bible app this week and thought it was perfect for me. I’ve been challenging myself to read more into scripture and love the encouragement that it brings!
I tried out these hair ties this week and am loving them! They are made to not leave a crease in your hair so I’ve been using them when I curl my hair and want to make it last more than a day. I use a hair tie at night (I got the Blush Hour color!) and my favorite Drybar Dry Shampoo in the morning, and I’m good to go!
Eric and I had so much FUN in the Dallas area this weekend. We took advantage of every festival we could find 🙂
We started off at McKinney’s Oktoberfest and had such a fun little day! We tried German food, watched weenie dog races, and popped in and out of the shops around their downtown square. We left in the late afternoon to grab something to eat and watch the LSU game!
The next day started off with a butterfly festival!
We walked in and were handed sticks with watermelon chunks on them to attract the butterflies.
Butterflies taste with their feet, so they were attracted to stand on the watermelon pieces!
If you rubbed watermelon juice onto your fingers, you could get the butterflies to stand on your fingers too 🙂
Pssst: I’m still loving this dress!
Our last festival of the weekend was a hot air balloon festival!
The weather was too windy to fly the hot air balloons, but we ate popsicles and watched a skydiving show. It was so neat!
Since it’s officially Fall, I updated my Favorites page to include what I’m loving this season! This is a page where I share a current list of my favorite shoes, jewelry and more. Check it out here!
Thanks so much for sharing my happies with me today!
I hope you have a great weekend 🙂
xoxo
