Hey there, Wednesday!
Thanks for stopping by for my second ever Paperback Picks post! I had an incredible Fourth of July weekend (and hope you did too!) and am so excited to share two thrilling books with you today along with a little bible verse read at the end.
Now I have to warn you, both books that I’m sharing with you today were of the creepy sort. (aka I was afraid to go to bed that night kind of creepy!) But they were so intriguing and such page turners that I loved every minute of them! I had been wanting to read The Good Girl and found it in the little free library in our neighborhood. It’s the story behind a girl who is abducted and definitely kept my attention the whole time!
Behind Closed Doors is definitely the best book I’ve read this year. It’s another scary book with a crazy plot line but it was so well written, and I literally couldn’t put it down! I read after that the movie rights have been sold, and I can’t wait for it to come to theaters!
Last up today is from one of my favorite bible verses: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34
A sweet little reminder to show those around you some love on this Wednesday!
That’s it for today! If you’d like to read my first Paperback Picks post, click here. And if you’d like to be friends with me on Goodreads (where I share what I’m reading + what I want to read) click here!
See you back here on Friday for my Finding Five post!
