Finding Five

Happy Friday!

I’m hoping to celebrate this weekend because I’m officially another semester down in grad school!

Even though I had finals this week, it was full of happies.

I wrote my first Paperback Picks post where I shared three books that I’ve read recently…

…and I picked up the cutest cookies for my mom to take with her to the beach with some friends! Aren’t they precious?!

I found the cutest little top for spring and summer and have been wearing it nonstop! It’s really lightweight for our hot days in Louisiana and will go great with white jeans or shorts.  Plus it’s on sale and comes in four different colors!  You can find it here 🙂 .

This part of my post always comes easy to me, and for some reason it hadn’t this week.  Yesterday when I saw that this video had been published, I knew it was what I had been waiting for!

A couple of weeks ago, a few of my classmates and I adapted toy cars for children with limited mobility through a project called Go Baby Go.  We were trained by them and held our own event for local kiddos called “Geaux Baby Geaux.”  This video is precious as it shows the kids trying out their new cars.  I hope it makes your day, too!

I fell in love with Supergoop’s setting mist this week.  It sets your makeup for the day and is SPF 50!  I bought the mini size, but I’ll be ordering the full size soon 🙂 .  I’ve heard great things about this brand, and I really want to try their hand cream and lip balm (which are SPF 40 and 30) too!

This weekend was the best!  On Friday, I went to a block party in Downtown Covington and to a school fair and then on Saturday…

Merritt and I went to Jazz Fest!  This was my first time going, and I’m dying to go back.  There were endless food choices (hello crawfish bread!), music, crafts, and great company!
