It’s Friday!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I have been getting ready for a quick vacation this weekend and enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having again this week. I’m hoping it’s here to stay for a while!
Thanks for stopping by today!
These happies this week were serious mood boosters… I’m talking two tops under thirty dollars kind of happies!
This shirt came home with me this week, and I am loving the casual but girly feel of it! It’s a super easy, feels like you’re wearing pj’s comfy kind of shirt 😉.
I also fell in love with this sweater this week! It’s lightweight and perfect to wear right now while our weather is acting all sorts of crazy. I paired it with this necklace in Slate, jeans and white Converse and was so comfy all day!
Young and Beardless was such a good book to read while I was in a resolution kind of mood with the new year! In his first book, John Luke Robertson not only shares his story but also encourages you to put your goals into action, always seek more knowledge, and to keep God first in your life. This book is a game changer and gave me a big push toward starting this blog!
Side note: I bought this book at a book signing this past fall after Sadie Robertson’s Live Original event and was so excited to meet John Luke ☺️.
I have been loving this face mask this week! I received a couple of samples from Nordstrom with a cosmetic order and decided to give it a try. This may be my favorite mask I have ever used. It left my skin feeling so soft and refreshed!
Laurel, Shelby, Emily and I went to see The Lion King this week and had the best night!
This show was so interactive and had truly amazing costumes, lighting and acting. I saw it for the first time in New York about five years ago, and it was just as great as I remembered!
Eric and I went to the Melting Pot this weekend and indulged big time! I never think to pair foods like they do on my own, but they come up with the best combinations.
We ordered spinach and artichoke dip, salads, and a combination of meats and seafood. Everything was delicious, and Eric’s salad even had Pop Rocks in it!
After dinner, we walked around Perkins Rowe and then went to see A Dog’s Purpose. I seriously cried at least five different times. This was such a good movie but a serious tear jerker!
After the movie, we went to the Melting Pot for a second time for dessert. We had seen earlier that dessert went half off after nine, so we made reservations when we were walking out!
Best decision ever 😉.
That’s it for today! Thanks so much for sharing my happies with me. I hope you’re finding yours too!
xoxo
