Finding Five

Hi! I’m so excited to be sharing my first “Finding Five” post with you today.  I believe that an important part of finding joy in each one of your days is to make an effort to stop and appreciate the little things that make you smile – your “happies.” My goal through blogging is to share my “happies” with you each week and to encourage you to find your own “happies” in your day!

Each Friday, I’ll be sharing the “happies” from my week and identifying them in the categories of fashion, faith, fab, and fun.  I will always add a fifth category to share an additional “happy” with you as well!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

These earrings are some of my favorite everyday pieces. I love both the semiprecious stones and the glitter colors! These were definitely a happy of mine this week since they are so easy to add to any outfit!

My roommate, Emily, surprised me with this quote framed for me this week! She found the bible verse on my Pinterest and drew it herself.  This was a huge happy for me!

I am loving this polish color! It’s CND Rubble, and I think it’s a perfect winter color (even if it’s 70 degrees in Louisiana).

fun

On the way to school this week, my roommate and I listened to some old school Taylor Swift.  I love me some Taylor Swift so this put me in such a great mood!

I asked for this cookbook by my very favorite blogger (Shay Shull) for Christmas, and my grandmother got it for me along with a new bundt cake pan! In this cookbook, Shay shows you 101 different ways to “mix and match” a simple bundt cake recipe.  I tried out my very first cake this week (Maple), and it was delicious! We couldn’t get enough, and no one could get over how easy it was to make.

Thanks so much for reading through my “happies” with me today – I hope you’re busy finding your own, too!
